If you
have the necessary qualifications to become a
Dual-Rated Pilot, we at MahonyAviation
have the Instructors who can carry out your Paragliding
Dual Pilot Training & Assessment to enable
you to attain your BHPA Dual Licence.
Before commencing training, the potential
Dual Pilot must:
Have BHPA Annual Flying Membership
Be 18 Years old or over
Hold a Pilot rating (minimum) in the
required Dual Pilot discipline (e.g. Hill or Tow).
Have logged a minimum of 100 solo flying
hours (Hill) or 250 flights (Tow).
Have completed a minimum of 20 launches
during the preceding 12 months using the launch method in
the discipline in which the Dual Licence is being sought.
Produce a letter of recommendation or
support from the Club Chairman or CFI.
